Mark your calendars for the 2024 flu and COVID vaccination dates:

Flu Clinics

Details of Fernville Surgery flu clinics:

Saturday, 5th October– for patients aged 65 and over

Saturday, 12th October– for patients under 65 who are in an ‘at-risk’ group

If you are unable to attend on your designated day, feel free to attend the alternative date- there is no need to call to tell us.

Please note that the campaign start date for most adult begins from 3rd October 2024. This may be later than you’ve had the vaccine before, but it means you’ll have the best protection when flu is most widespread.

Pregnant women may receive their flu vaccines from 1st September, please ask us, your midwife team or pharmacist.

Children aged 2-3 years and under 18’s who are in an ‘at-risk’ group will receive self-booking links for various midweek/weekend dates from early September.

COVID Vaccinations

The NHS booking service and 119 telephone service will both be open to the public from Monday, 23rd September 2024.

The last available appointment date will be Friday 20th December 2024.

Please be aware that Fernville surgery does not offer the COVID vaccine and we do not have the ability to book these vaccines.
