Car Parking Arrangements

We are continually looking to turn our patients feedback into real improvements in the services we provide. Our patients told us that it is often difficult to park and the car park is inappropriately used at times. Therefore, we have engaged ParkingEye as a contractor to enforce parking restrictions at Fernville Surgery.

ParkingEye uses a number plate recognition system to monitor entry and exit from the car park. Signs have been installed advertising the terms and conditions for parking.

When visiting the practice you will be given 1 hour parking time. If you know you will be longer than 1 hour when you arrive at the surgery, talk to reception when you arrive. If your visit unexpectedly takes longer than 60 minutes, talk to reception as you leave. You will need to do this on each and every occasion.

A Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) is issued by ParkingEye to users found to be in breach of these terms and conditions mentioned above. The charge is £100, which can be reduced to £60 if payment is made within a specified period.

Drivers

If a patient is having their first flu vaccination, we advise they should wait 15 minutes before driving a vehicle.
