CAP UK

Debt Help

CAP UK’s Debt Help service remains open for new bookings, and they have good availability for new appointments for the term. If you know anyone who is struggling with debt then please encourage them to call 0800 328 0006. Their friendly New Enquiries Team will book them an appointment with a local debt coach.

Life Skills

CAP UK’s Life Skills service is re-opening after lockdown! Their Life Skills groups (covering 8 sessions) are all about helping people find new ways to live for a brighter future. Whether it’s learning to eat well on a budget, how to make money go further, or how to care for well-being and mental health, these courses teach practical skills in a friendly and welcoming group context.

They will be starting a course in October exclusively for clients of Druglink, and they are planning for their first open course to take place in early summer 2022.

If you know someone who could benefit from the course, or you would like more information, please contact Pauline at paulinebowles@caplifeskills.org or 07480 762953.

Money Course

Their ever-popular CAP Money Course will be running in three venues this term. This is a free course that teaches budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that works. Over three sessions, delegates get to grips with their finances so they can budget, save and prevent debt. Previous delegates have described the course as “brilliant” and “suitable for a diverse audience”.
